My name is Judith Rinehart, CPC. I am the Chef/Owner of On The Avenue Catering in Fort Wayne, IN. I prepared my first solo meal for company at the age of 13 and have been cooking ever since. Catering has been a major part of my life for over 25 years. My experience includes: following the military around the country, to remote bases as well as drill weekends, ministering to families through funeral home dinners, wedding, graduations and family gatherings. I, also, was the chef at a campgrounds that hosted children/youth camps and adult retreats. In May of 2012, I graduated with honors from Ivy Tech, Indianapolis, receiving the A.S. in Hospitality Management with a specialty in Baking and Pastry. I have earned 7 certificates from the National Restaurant Association including the Serv Safe plus the CPC certificate from the American Culinary Federation.
May 16, 2013, On The Avenue Catering became a reality instead of a dream. I was offered the opportunity to become the chef on-site at the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center in Fort Wayne, IN. This opened the door of opportunity to start my own business. As chef/owner of On The Avenue Catering, my greatest wish is to not only serve high quality food, but also to display the gift of hospitality.

The cuisine you prepare is absolutely marvelous. Each time now it is as though you have become 6 difference chefs. There has not been one single dish that has been duplicated. Each dish is so creative I am just blown away. 


I really don't know how you manage to do it and for the variety of events you manage to blend the dishes perfectly to the event. Even the larger events everything maintains its perfection. This was especially evident at the Northern Indiana Innovation Center when you prepared for that very large crowd and under very poor atmospheric conditions. How you pulled that one off was amazing.
